Small Wedding at Azuridge Estate

Oh how delightful it was to experience Azuridge Estate Hotel for Mandy and Austin’s small wedding this summer! Azuridge is a wedding venue located outside of Calgary, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. With expansive grounds, from tended gardens surrounding ponds, to manicured lawns, to paths that meander through forests leading to a gully, it’s such a delight to photograph.

Mandy and Austin first met in university over a decade ago, and life has seen them living in Ontario and now Alberta. They never really imagined having a large wedding, and with the happenstance of a year that 2020 was, they decided to get married with only Mandy’s family in attendance, and Austin’s family streaming in from Ontario.

Overlooking the water, with the mountains jutting out at the horizon, they were married at midday. Mandy’s father gave a reading, her sister played the violin. A simple ceremony that was absolute perfection. We meandered Azuridge for portraits before their family reception.
