As I wrap up shooting 2019 weddings I can’t help but look back at the year in wonderment of the couples I have met, the stories they have told, and the places I have been. This year I kept closer to home, venturing between Alberta and British Columbia, flying once to Ontario. Couples said their vows in parts of the province that are often unsung – where the landscape is just as wild as the Canadian Rocky Mountains, but in an understated, a more reserved and knowing way. It was refreshing and inspiring to take part in these celebrations. Here is one.
