Adult Summer Camp Hillside Lodge Wedding

Banff National Park may be the known place for a destination wedding in the Canadian Rockies, but tucked a couple of mountain ranges and valleys over is Golden, British Columbia with its glorious views, meandering river, away from the crowds. Laura and Joel knew they wanted to bring their family and friends who were flying in from across Canada, the UK, and Australia to the mountains they love to hike, fish and golf in, but give them an experience that was practical. So on a camping weekend with their dogs they discovered Hillside Lodge and Chalet’s, just outside of Golden, tucked away amongst the forest and along the Blaeberry River. A perfect spot for their wedding that struck the adult summer camp vibe – a place to collect the evening before, to play lawn games, to dance the night away under the stars.
