Laurel + Eric
Banff Tunnel Mountain Reservoir Wedding at Sleeping Buffalo

As western Canada descended into a heatwave like none other – Laurel and Eric faced each other beneath Sleeping Buffalo Mountain and Mount Rundle and committed to each other. High school sweethearts, who defied all who told them it was a phase, a fling, that they would grow apart. Instead they were married by Laurel’s father at their Tunnel Mountain Reservoir wedding.

A day that focused on two people, their families and a handful of friends. Where each guest contributed to the day. From picking up the pizza (which, is integral to these two’s love story as they were engaged over pizza, naturally), to setting up the reception, to ensuring everyone stayed hydrated. Every single person stood beside Laurel and Eric in support of their beautiful wedding day atop Tunnel Mountain Reservoir.

Originally we had planned to do portraits just at Sleeping Buffalo Mountain, but ultimately decided a short air-conditioned car ride reprieve was necessary, and we escaped post luncheon reception to the shores of Lake Minnewanka. If you tried hard enough, I think you could even imagine the slightest cool breeze.

The biggest of congratulations to you both on such a momentous day.
