Steph & Connor
Dinosaur Wedding

Rawr.

Steph and Connor threw a party of unique proportions.  Dinosaurs for days!  A collection of dinosaur bones, protea bouquets, dinosaur planters, phylogenetic tree seating chart, dinosaur book readings, dinosaur piñatas. The most wonderful collection of things and a day enjoyed by all.

As Steph got ready a block away Connor put up giant cutouts of dinosaurs as a surprise ceremony backdrop. A perfect contrast to the western oddity collection of the Palomino Smokehouse. As the guests arrived they were handed boozy popsicles from Family Freezed as they mingled before moving into the courtyard for the ceremony. Steph and Connor opted out of a recessional and instead emerged from a sidedoor together unceremoniously and stood together at the front hand in hand. The minister read from A Lovely Love Story about two dinosaurs. They exchanged vows, dropping their cards as they went. When they were proclaimed as man and wife the crowd cheered wildly before moving indoors for the first dance.

Afterwards their friends arranged the tables and the decor. At the back of the room was a geode station where centrepieces could be broken open, the wine bottles were each topped with a unique hand painted dino, and succulents were everywhere. Heartfelt speeches were shared, tears of laughter and remembrance throughout, toasts, and piñata bashing brought in the dancing.

Two lovely people in love.
