Photolife
Feature

Oh dear – a ‘toot my own horn’ kind of blog post. I apologize in advance.

I am so excited to have an über tiny feature in this month’s Photolife issue. Two years ago I traveled to Guatemala with Canmore based organization CAUSE Canada to document their projects in Todos Santos and Comitancillo.  Between the culture, the kindness of the people, and the absolute natural beauty of the area I fell in love with the country. Words can not convey how amazing of an opportunity it was to see the Mam people’s way of life and through translators talk with them about their aspirations and their daily lives

You can see the blog post on Photolife’s blog here. Additional images from this trip can be seen here, here, here and here. Images from a more recent trip to Guatemala are on my personal site as well. (Enough links already right?). Be sure to check out this issue of Photolife on stands pretty much everywhere (as in I have seen their magazine in the US, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates). They are an amazing Canadian based magazine that write extremely pertinent articles for both hobbyists and professionals.

Congrats Brittany! This makes me so happy to see. You obviously don’t toot your horn enough, cause I only stumbled across this by my usual blog stalking ;)
