Woo-ya! That was the word for the day. Krystal and Sean got married in the beautiful Baker’s Park overlooking the Bow River followed by a rocking party at the Stampede Roundup Centre. I don’t think you could combine a more beautiful bride with a more handsome groom on this hot summer day. By hot I mean steaming hot, as in 30°C followed by a wicked wind storm that we just missed. I hope you two enjoy your sneak peek!

I just love shots like these. Nothing overly fancy dancy about them but man, it just shows exactly how almost all weddings go in the morning. The hub of activity, all the girls vying for prime mirror-position, the curling irons, lineup of hair products, food here and there, speeches being rehearsed, last minute details being addressed. I just love watching how all these ladies just work together to make the big day happen : )
All day I was catching Krystal’s little sister just looking over at her almost in awe. I still remember (I was much younger at the time however) getting ready to be a flower girl in my cousin’s wedding and just staring up at her thinking she was such a princess! Those little moments are just awesome

Here is one to be watching for in a year. Chantelle, Krystal’s sister, is planning on becoming a wedding planner after touring the world this coming year (jealous!) – I can tell you one thing. She rocked planning her sisters!

Thanks to Dana Pugh for second shooting with me on their big day and capturing the boys getting spiffed up for the day!

The ceremony was officiated by Krystal’s stepfather. Now, if you live in the south you in all likelihood know him personally however, you have probably seen some of his handiwork. Every winter on the Canyon Meadows/MacLeod Trail overpass when heading north you may see some words written into the snow to a lady by the name of Sandy – Krystals mom. I can’t think of a better couple for Krystal and Sean to model their marriage after.

Did I forget to mention that Sean has an identical twin brother? Sorry ladies, they are both taken!
