Haley and Ryan – Vancouver Engagement Photographer

The way he makes her laugh. Oh the way he makes her laugh!

Ryan and Haley have to be made for each other.  The way they just look at each other and burst into laughter.  I am seriously grinning from ear to ear as I post these – their laughter and smiles and grins just radiate that much.

Haley and I have been emailing for a few months now discussing the possibility of doing an engagement session, however, both timing and location were proving to be a problem.  So, when I decided to make a relatively last minute road trip to the west coast I was delighted to hear we could make it happen! Due to work schedules and a jaunt to Washington we decided to go ahead with a mini session which ended up being less than half the time of a normal engagement session.  I think we can all see the naturalness of Haley and Ryan made that shortened time very usable!

When the light was long gone we went for coffee and the best key lime pie I have ever had (and I am quite a fan of key lime pie). I seriously feel like I could have known these two for several years as opposed to an hour.

How lucky am I to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding this coming May? Very. Very very!

Enjoy!

Feel free to leave a comment. I love hearing from ya!

John McDonald - I think you’ve got TS down to a science with the 17th photo. Awesome work brit!

Milena Dekic - Haley & Ryan are possibly the cutest couple ever and I want Haley’s cardigan, so adorable! You photos are just stunning too and I’m sure they love them. The angles, the lighting, just everything is perfect.

If I could steal some of your talent, I totally would :)

Aunt D. - omg, my heart is all a-flutter. Haley was my surrogate baby and I was head over heals in love for the 2nd time in my life (Courtney is my first love..) I kissed your head so much Haley I’m sure the bones are irregular. oops. sorry. Anyways, these photos are exceptional, you look so happy and I am so proud to be Aunt D. and counting (that means Aunt D. to you too Ryan).

Mark Gregory - Great colors, processing, and TS. Well… pretty much great everything.

Lesley D. - Beautiful photos! I love how only a few colors are focused on so that the pictures are simple, but gorgeous. As a joke I told Haley I would pick out the ones where Ryan looks weird, but it is impossible – they both look amazing in all of them! Also, I love how you guys are both wearing cardigans.
