Ashley and Nick | Mountain Elopement

Have you ever met a couple where you are just so enthralled with having the opportunity to know them?  That is how I feel about Ashley and Nick. They met by happenstance in Arizona, live in Texas, have traveled to all parts of the world together, and fell in love with this little portion of the world enough to say their vows here.

Just the two of them. Myself and the lady at the front desk as witnesses. Karyn officiating the ceremony.  An elopement at Storm Mountain Lodge.

Despite the non-traditionalness (new word) of the day, Ashley brought with her a bonnet. After being married the bonnet had a thread to be cut to become a handkerchief. A little bit of tradition.  After Ashley and Nick had some champagne and planned their hike for the next day we explored little pockets of the Canadian Rocky Mountains for portraits.

Congratulations you two!
